Ingredients

  • 2 c of all-purpose flour

  • 1 c of cornmeal

  • 2/3 c of sugar

  • 1tsp of salt

  • 2 tbsp of baking powder

  • 4 c of milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 stick of melted butter

  • 1 small can of green chilis (optional)

  • 1 can cream corn

  • Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water

Preparation

  1. In a very large bowl, mix all the ingredients. It will look lumpy due to corn, but make sure the dry ingredients are lumped in.

  2. Add half a bottle of Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water plus all the chopped ingredients in the bottle. We suggest our jalapeno flavor or use our habanero flavor for a kicked-up cornbread.

  3. Pour mixture into a greased pan (pie pan, silicone baking dish, whatever you have available).

  4. Put in a preheated oven of 400 for 20 to 30 minutes.

  5. Check to see if it’s done by inserting a toothpick and if it comes out clean it’s done. If it comes out with batter on it, put it back in.

  6. Enjoy!
